Pansy AppliquePansy Applique Unknown Quilt MakerCirca 194086 x 86 inchesOrigin Unknown In Mint Condition, this mid 20th century applique has been superbly quilted, with fine hand stitching measuring about 9 10 stitches to the inch (counting one side only). The maker, clearly a skilled and experienced needlewoman, chose crosshatch and feather wreaths. Flowers and leaves have been hand embroidered with very tight blanket stitching, outlining the applique nicely.
