BadisTHIS RUG'S STORY: Badis is a stunning find from the Beni Ourain tribe. It features an interesting pattern and has soft wool. Beni Ourains are known for their dense pile and reversible design. You'll see from the pictures, the back is also beautiful. This rug was woven in the Middle Atlas mountain region in Morocco, where temperatures can change drastically. These pieces are significant to Berber culture as the higher pile kept members of the family

It was given to me as a gift by one of my rug vendors but I recently decided to sell it as we are trying to downsize

and black in there too

The wear patterns and tribal motifs make this one extra special

this vintage rug is a true work of art

I named this rug Shalom after the Jewish star symbols you can see in it

the feel is more soft and lived in

This hand woven tray would be great on a bed or coffee table
