Ingo Maurer, Limited edition Bibibibi lamp, 1982Ingo Maurer designed the Bibibibi in 1982 originally as a wedding present for friends. The legs came from a plastic Stork, which he had seen at Woolworths. The birds were sold out, but only a pair of legs without torso was left. The sales person did not want to sell the incomplete product, but we see here how the story ends. The playful table lamp was very well received when it first came out, and in the beginning was made as a limited and numbered
