Rockingham porcelain flower encrusted tapered scent bottle. Puce Mark. c.1831-7Description. A small sized version of the Rockingham tapered scent bottle. Another version was made of 11. 25". Enormously elaborate applied and painted decoration and gilding. Puce mark, with cl. 2 in gilt, for the period 1831 42 but this is the rarer version of the mark and refers to manufacture for the king placing the date of the piece before 1837. Condition.
